Living Stones Class
Teaching
Our primary teaching model is to choose a book from the Bible and work through it week by week. We have a teaching "team" of 6-8 men who share the teaching responsibilities.
Fellowship
We fellowship each Sunday before class with light snacks and coffee. We have occasional events outside the class meeting time, such as picnics, game nights, and other outings.
Prayer
Prayer is a vital part of the class. Each week we share praises and requests and pray over them in class. They are also collected and distributed digitally to the class each week via an emailed newsletter.
Who are we?
We are a community of believers, seeking others to join us in meeting each Sunday 9:00 – 10:30 AM in the basement of the Old Stone Chapel on the Rockrimmon campus. We study God’s Word, pray, fellowship, care for one another, and encourage service and mission outreach. We seek to exemplify the vision of Woodmen: LOVE WELL, CHANGE LIVES, THROUGH CHRIST.
We welcome believers of all ages, but we are mostly adults near or in our senior years. A majority of us are couples, but we also have a number of singles (never married, divorced, widowed or widowers).
Service and Mission Outreach
Many of our class are involved in roles of service in Woodmen Valley Chapel, and our class supports the church’s community outreach. In addition, a number of our class members are involved with mission organizations.
